Becoming a new patient of All Smiles Orthodontics can be a breeze! Below are some common questions you might have while preparing for your first appointment.
What can I expect from my first consultation?
You will meet one of our treatment coordinators who will take the needed photos, x-rays, and 3D scans of your teeth. These records as well as your medical and dental history are reviewed, Dr. Stanley will complete a comprehensive examination of your teeth, jaw, and facial muscles. During this examination he will determine:
-If orthodontic treatment is necessary
-The best time to initiate orthodontic treatment
-Approximate treatment length
If orthodontic treatment is recommended for you we will explain all the necessary upcoming visits, insurance submission requirements, and payment options.
Once I start treatment, how frequent are the appointments?
Each treatment plan and age of the patient varies considerably. For most people, we will see you every 6 to 8 weeks on average. For those who are in aligners, GRIN enables us to significantly lessen your in-office visits.
How do I pay for your services?
Cost
The cost of treatment depends on the individual patient. Our front desk team knows all the ins and outs when it comes to insurance and our interest-free payment options.
Insurance
Direct billing to insurance companies is available for full compressive cases.
Our staff will review this process with you in the office or before appointments if you wish. We gladly provide insurance forms for reimbursement of other fees.
How does Orthodontic treatment work, and how long does it last?
Each treatment plan is unique to every patient, but no matter the course of treatment, our team will explain each step to you as well as what you can expect along the way.
The length of treatment is also dependent on the patient and the course of treatment recommended by Dr. Stanley or Dr. Halford.
